Abstract
This type of research is a qualitative phenomenological approach, through the shaman's role in delivering aid infant during pregnancy, childbirth and post treatment processes is still quite strong, despite the presence of maternal and child health services there are legitimate, especially midwives already more and more and reach out to remote areas. Even so, the role of the shaman is no longer controlled the health service fully pregnant and giving birth. Therefore the view of the role and function of the shaman in the sight of the community has already begun to balanced, however, to date support the baby still be missing an unlikely icon for granted, there is a long history and the struggle of the litter is the shaman's tireless the night, morning, afternoons noon. In giving succor to expectant mothers who need the help
